We’re Scouts and everyone is welcome here. We prepare young people with skills for life, by encouraging them to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we help half a million young people enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future. Fancy it?

Welcome to 1st Bowerhill Scout Group

We’re a group which has been in existence since 1983 and is based in Bowerhill, Melksham in Wiltshire. We are part of the Wiltshire West Scout district.

Our regular meeting place is Bowerhill Village. We draw members from Bowerhill itself as well as Melksham and surrounding villages.

We offer Scouting to those aged 8 to 18, or any age for adult volunteers and leaders.

Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
